Test us with a sample first.
Before you commit to volume, get a real part in your hands — inspected, documented, and built the same way your production run will be.
A sample is the fastest way to de-risk a new supplier. We treat your prototype with the same process, inspection and traceability as production — so what you validate is what you'll get at scale.
How our sample policy works
The two cards below are a starting point — adjust the wording, pricing model and list items to match your actual policy. Copy a .gc-policy__card to add a third option.
[Evaluation sample]
- [No tooling charge for standard processes]
- [Built on the same line as production]
- [Best for first evaluation / fit check]
[Prototype / tooled sample]
- [Tooling cost quoted upfront, credited to volume]
- [Closer to final part — material, finish, tolerance]
- [Best for validation before mass production]
Requesting a sample
Send drawing
Your CAD/PDF, material and quantity. We review for manufacturability within 24 hours.
Get quote
We return a quote plus DFM notes — what's feasible, what we'd change, and the sample lead time.
Confirm & NDA
Sign NDA if needed, confirm specs, and we schedule the sample on the same line as production.
Receive & review
Part arrives with inspection report and material certificate. Feedback loops straight into your production plan.
What every sample includes
- The physical part — built on your chosen process and material.
- Dimensional inspection report — key dimensions measured and recorded.
- Material certificate — grade and traceability on request.
- Packaging — anti-rust / anti-shock as needed for the part.
- PPAP / FAI — available on request for automotive & aerospace.
- Engineering notes — what we'd adjust for cost or reliability at volume.
Lead time & shipping
Freight is agreed in the quote — either covered by us as part of the sample, or arranged by you with our tracking support. [Adjust this line to your real shipping rule.]
Your design stays yours
Drawings and models are handled under NDA, used only for your order, and never reused or shared. Because we manufacture in-house with no outsourcing of critical work, your IP stays inside one controlled facility. [Add your NDA process or link here if you have one.]
Frequently asked
How long does a sample take?
Typical sample lead time is 7–15 days, depending on process, material and complexity. We confirm the exact date with your quote.
Is the first sample free?
It depends on the project. Simple evaluation samples are often provided at low or no tooling cost; complex prototypes with bespoke tooling may be quoted. We state this clearly before we start.
What do I receive with a sample?
The physical part plus a dimensional inspection report and material certificate. PPAP / FAI packages are available on request.
Will you protect my design?
Yes. Drawings are handled under NDA, used only for your order, and never reused or shared. We manufacture in-house with no outsourcing of critical work.
Can I request a specific material or tolerance?
Yes. Tell us the grade and tolerance you need; our engineers will confirm feasibility and suggest alternatives if a change reduces cost or risk.
How is the sample shipped?
By express (DHL / UPS / FedEx) to most destinations, with tracking. Freight cost is agreed in the quote.
Ready to request a sample?
Send us your drawing. We'll come back with a quote, DFM feedback, and a sample date.
