How to Choose the Right Manufacturing Process
Not sure which process fits your project? Use this decision framework — or upload your CAD for a free DFM analysis and expert recommendation.
Complex metal parts with tight tolerances → CNC Machining
If your part has complex 3D geometry, requires ±0.005 mm tolerance, and is made from metals like aluminum, titanium, or Inconel, CNC machining is your optimal choice. Ideal for 1–100,000+ pieces with fast turnaround.
High-volume plastic parts with complex shapes → Injection Molding
When you need 1,000+ identical plastic parts with intricate features, injection molding delivers the lowest per-unit cost. Suitable for ABS, PC, nylon, PEEK, and 50+ engineering plastics.
High-volume metal parts with thin walls → Die Casting
For aluminum, zinc, or magnesium parts in volumes of 1,000–500,000+, die casting combines speed, dimensional consistency, and thin-wall capability (down to 0.8 mm) at low unit cost.
Sheet metal enclosures and structural brackets → Sheet Metal
For panels, chassis, brackets, and enclosures made from sheet steel, stainless, or aluminum, sheet metal fabrication with laser cutting and CNC bending is fast and cost-effective.
Rapid prototypes without tooling investment → 3D Printing
When speed matters and you want to validate a design before committing to tooling, 3D printing delivers functional prototypes in days. SLM for metal, SLA/SLS for plastic.
Multi-process assembly with surface finishing → Combine Services
Need a CNC housing with an overmolded seal and powder coating? We coordinate all processes internally. One project manager. One quality system. Zero finger-pointing.

Parts We Manufacture Every Day
Procurement managers often search by the part they need. Here are common applications we deliver across all six manufacturing processes.
Beyond Manufacturing — Engineering Partnership
We don't just make parts. Our engineering team reviews every design before production — identifying issues, optimizing for cost, and recommending the right material and process for your application.
DFM Analysis
Free Design for Manufacturability review on every order. We identify potential issues — wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, thread geometry — and propose cost-saving design optimizations before production starts.
Material Recommendation
Not sure whether PEEK or Ultem fits your application? Our engineers evaluate your requirements — temperature, chemical exposure, mechanical load, regulatory compliance — and recommend the optimal material.
Tolerance & Cost Optimization
Over-specifying tolerances drives up cost without improving function. We analyze your drawing, identify over-toleranced features, and recommend adjustments that maintain performance while reducing manufacturing cost.
Rapid Prototyping
Validate your design before committing to production tooling. We offer CNC-machined prototypes in 7–10 days and 3D-printed functional samples in 3–7 days. Iterate faster. Launch with confidence.
FAI & PPAP Documentation
Full dimensional reports per AS9102 standards. PPAP Level 3 documentation available for automotive programs. Every shipment includes a CMM inspection report — no exceptions.
Material Certification
EN 10204 3.1 material certificates for every batch. SGS, RoHS, and REACH compliance documentation available. Full traceability from raw material to finished part.
Precision You Can Measure
Our quality system is built on ISO 9001:2015, calibrated to AS9102 FAI standards, and verified by Zeiss Prismo CMM with ±0.0005 mm accuracy. Every part ships with a dimensional inspection report.

Built for Procurement. Engineered for Quality.
Procurement managers choose Goldcattle not because of marketing, but because we solve the real problems that make global sourcing difficult: quality inconsistency, communication gaps, and supply chain fragmentation.
One supplier. Six processes.
No need to qualify and manage separate CNC, injection molding, and die casting vendors. One audit. One quality system. One project manager. Reduced procurement overhead and simpler supply chain management.
Engineering support from day one.
Free DFM analysis on every order catches design issues before production — saving weeks of back-and-forth and preventing costly rework. Our engineers speak your language: GD&T, tolerance stacks, and material specs.
Quality you can verify — not just claims.
Every shipment includes a CMM dimensional report. Material certificates per EN 10204 3.1. FAI per AS9102. PPAP documentation available. We don't ask you to trust our quality — we prove it with data.
Full visibility from RFQ to delivery.
Real-time status updates. Process photos on request. No black boxes. No "trust me" factory visits required. You know exactly where your order stands at every stage of production.
