For regulated industries like aerospace, medical, and oil & gas, this documentation is not optional—it is required to pass quality audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

At the core of material certification is the Mill Test Certificate (MTC), also known as Material Test Report (MTR), which complies with the EN 10204 standard. This document includes:

• Full material identification: Heat number, batch/lot number, and material grade
• Actual chemical composition results from spectrographic analysis
• Mechanical property test data: Tensile strength, yield strength, hardness, and elongation
• Traceability links to the original raw material manufacturer

Mill Test Certificate (MTC) – EN 10204 3.1

The most commonly requested certification, issued by the raw material manufacturer’s independent quality department. It includes actual test results for the specific batch of material.

EN 10204 3.2 Certificate

A higher-level certification validated by an independent, third-party inspection agency. The test results are witnessed and approved by an authorized external body.

A formal declaration that the supplied parts and materials conform to the specified requirements, standards, and contract terms.

Absolutely. Every part we produce with certification is linked to the original raw material’s heat number, and we retain all traceability records for a minimum of 10 years, so you can trace back to the mill at any time.

Do you support customer-specified material suppliers?

Yes, we can work with your approved material suppliers, or we can source materials from our qualified supplier list to meet your specific requirements, ensuring full compliance with your supply chain rules.

Can you sign NDA for our project?

Yes, we strictly protect your intellectual property. We can sign a mutual NDA before we start any project, and we will never share your design, parts, or project details with any third party.

Is there an extra cost for material certification?

For standard EN 10204 3.1 MTC and CoC, there is only a small documentation fee, no extra cost for the certificate itself. For 3.2 certificates or special compliance documents, we will quote based on your specific requirements.
