Tolerance & Precision Requirements

Tighter tolerances require slower feed rates, precision cutting tools, and additional inspection steps. A standard tolerance of ±0.1mm has no extra cost, while a precision tolerance of ±0.005mm can increase cost by 30-100% due to strict quality control and temperature-controlled processing environment to ensure accuracy.

Surface Finishing

Standard as-machined finish (Ra 1.6-3.2μm) is included. Special treatments like anodizing, powder coating, or polishing add 15-60% to the cost depending on the process complexity.

Order Quantity

Economies of scale apply. Larger volumes reduce per-unit cost as setup costs are spread across more parts. We support both low volume prototyping (1-100pcs) and high volume production (10000+ pcs).

Part Complexity

Complex geometries with deep cavities, thin walls, or multi-axis operations require more machining time and specialized programming, which will increase the overall processing cost and lead time.

How long does it take to get a CNC quote?

We provide formal detailed quotation within 12-24 hours after receiving your complete CAD files. For extremely complex parts with special requirements, it may take up to 48 hours.

What file formats do you accept for quoting?

We support all common CAD formats: STEP/STP, IGES, X_T, SAT, as well as 2D formats like PDF, DWG, and DXF. We can also work with other formats if needed.

Can you sign an NDA to protect my design?

Yes, we strictly protect your intellectual property. We can sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you share your design files, and we will never share your parts with any third party.

Do you support low volume or prototype orders?

Yes, we support both low volume prototyping (as low as 1 piece) and high volume mass production (up to 100,000+ pieces per month). Our pricing is optimized for both scenarios.

Is the DFM feedback really free?

Absolutely. Every quote includes free Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback from our senior engineers. We will check for potential manufacturing issues, provide design optimization suggestions, and help you reduce production cost without any extra charge.
